Without giving Yui a chance to answer his question, Laito jovially grabs her by the hands and promptly starts taking off. Yui stays silent, most likely glaring at Laito, as he chuckles and asks if Yui would like to accompany him back to the castle. Yui tries to protest but Subaru cuts her off quickly by stating he will be fine and he will manage Christa on his own.Īyato and Subaru exit, leaving Laito with Yui as he dramatically laments Subaru’s behavior by stating that he’s behaving just as he usually does despite Bitch-chan trying her hardest to show him kindness. Subaru is worried that Christa could do something to harm Yui again, and demands that she stay at the Mukami residence where she can be safe. Ayato, Laito, and Subaru move to leave and Yui to ask Subaru to wait for her, as she obviously has every intention of going with, when suddenly Subaru grabs Yui’s hand and firmly tells her she won’t be going with him. Ayato, impatiently as always, demands they leave IMMEDIATELY. He clicks his tongue and Yui takes that as affirmation that they will return to the Sakamaki residence.

Subaru seems confused, but as Yui explains her hypothesis on Christa’s loneliness being the cause of her behavior, Subaru’s expression softens just the slightest bit. Yui then asks Subaru if they can return to the Sakamaki mansion now, and reminds him that staying at the Mukami residence will be “no good,” as there are things that need to be done that only Subaru can do. Yui hypothesizes that Christa is lonely, and perhaps that loneliness can somehow only be filled by the presence of her son, Subaru. Yui takes a moment to reflect on how she was right to worry about Christa all this time, and she still thinks that after all it’s best for Subaru to be near his mother. Ayato laments that he is at his limit, and demands that Subaru return and handle his mother. Ayato huffs , as doesn’t care what is causing the behavior, as long as it’s stopped. Subaru and Yui exchange a silent glance as Laito wonders out loud if Christa’s behavior is just her “eccentric” condition worsening or if it’s related to the lunar eclipse. Īyato clearly seems annoyed by Christa’s erratic behavior and wants it stopped immediately, but Laito shows a bit more concern as he mentions that he wonders if all the rampaging Christa is doing isn’t taking a toll on her physical health. Supposedly everyday since Subaru and Yui left, Christa has been hysterically throwing fits and destroying things in the castle with no signs of stopping. Laito and Ayato come to the Mukami mansion to retrieve Subaru, as apparently they need him to “manage” Christa. *Please note that for now, I have only included the Vampire Ending.
